Within the photograph, the Prince of Wales was pictured alongside their household canine Orla and her new 4 puppies. It was shared with the message “Comfortable birthday! ! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!”.
The Prince of Wales can be seen stroking one of the chocolate cocker spaniel puppies in the photo while their mother, Orla, is behind him. The initials written in the message along with the photo are the initials of Catherine and their children, George, Charlotte, Louis, and “the puppies”, plus a paw print emoji.
Orla was given to the Prince and Princess of Wales by Catherine’s brother, James Middleton, in 2020 following the death of their previous dog, Lupo. The dog which can be seen walking behind William in the picture gave birth to four puppies in May, 2025. In the picture which shows Williams playing with the puppy, he is seen wearing a pair of jeans and trainers.
King Charles and Queen Camilla also celebrated Prince William’s birthday. They shared a portrait of him with the message “Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!”
In his birthday week in 2025, the Prince of Wales joined the King and Queen at Royal Ascot on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
