Lenders cannot levy floating rate loan foreclosure charges on customers, MSEs: RBI

The Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI), in its draft round issued right now, stated lenders shall not levy any expenses or penalties in case of foreclosures or pre-payment of floating price loans granted to people and micro and small entities (MSE) for enterprise functions. Nevertheless, in case of MSE debtors, these directions can be relevant as much as the combination sanctioned restrict of ₹7.50 crore per borrower.
