I simply had the pleasure of assembly a freshly minted Boston School graduate who, within the fall, will grow to be an intern for Democratic Whip (second highest rating Home Democrat) Katherine Clarke (pictured). The younger man is kind of enthusiastic about his new place, as he himself aspires to a profession in politics.
A few highlights from our speak:
I advised him that if I run into him sooner or later, I’d love to listen to the whole lot he did to take away Trump from workplace. (I bought a hearty chuckle in reply.)
He acknowledged that these are darkish days for America, however he mentioned, “For those who’re going to be in politics, you’re going to run into each good and dangerous occasions. Falling prey to pessimism or despair isn’t a wholesome strategy.” To which I responded, “Hey, that’s profound. Go get ’em.”
