FoodTech Startup Prefer Raises $4.2 Million to Scale Low Carbon Coffee, Cocoa Alternatives – ESG Today

Singapore-based meals tech start-up Want introduced that it has raised $4.2 million in a Pre-Sequence A funding spherical, and has commercially launched its new soluble espresso and cocoa powders, aimed toward replicating espresso and cocoa at a fraction of the carbon footprint and at decrease value.

Based in 2022 by Jake Berber and Ding Jie Tan, Want supplies climate-resilient options for the meals merchandise by reworking upcycled substances.
