Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan cricket group’s ace bowler, had a disastrous debut within the Massive Bash League on Tuesday. Afridi was faraway from bowling throughout his first match for Brisbane Warmth towards Melbourne Renegades at Simonds Stadium.

The Pakistan worldwide’s bowling spell was lower brief within the 18th over of the primary innings. Afridi delivered two full tosses that have been referred to as harmful by umpires. Because of this, he was faraway from the sphere, and Brisbane Warmth captain Nathan McSweeney accomplished the over. Afridi’s first spell concluded with figures of 0 runs for 43 runs from 2.4 overs. The over was expensive, with 15 runs conceded and three no-balls, along with two wides earlier in his bowling.

Afridi had joined the BBL with important expectations, alongside fellow Pakistani participant Mohammad Rizwan, who debuted for the Renegades. Whereas Afridi began his spell with three consecutive dot balls in his second over, he discovered it troublesome to keep up his rhythm. When he returned to bowl within the thirteenth over through the Renegades’ Energy Surge, he conceded 19 runs. His remaining over added to his difficulties, leading to an economic system charge of 16.10 for the match.

Melbourne Renegades took advantage of Brisbane’s bowling issues to score 212 for 5. Tim Seifert was a key player, scoring 102 runs from 56 balls. Ollie Peake contributed late runs with 57 runs from 29 deliveries. Mohammad Rizwan, however, scored only four runs from ten balls before being dismissed.

Afridi was named the new captain of Pakistan’s men’s ODI team, replacing wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, earlier in October this year.

The left-arm fast bowler, who made his international debut in 2018, is one of the most successful bowlers of Pakistan. He was named the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year in 2021. He has 120 test wickets, 131 ODI wickets and 118 in T20Is.
