Man shot during Minneapolis immigration crackdown has died, hospital record shows

Minneapolis: A 51-year-old man shot Saturday by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis has died, a hospital report obtained by The Related Press exhibits.

The individual was shot amid the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, Gov Tim Walz stated. The main points surrounding the taking pictures weren’t instantly clear. Division of Homeland Safety spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin instructed the AP in a textual content messages that the individual had a firearm with two magazines and that the state of affairs was “evolving.”

The taking pictures occurred amid widespread each day protests within the Twin Cities because the January 7 taking pictures of 37-year-old Renee Good, who was killed when an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fired into her car.

Walz, a Democrat, stated in a social media submit that he had been involved with the White Home after the taking pictures. He urged President Donald Trump to finish what the Division of Homeland Safety has referred to as its largest-ever immigration enforcement operation.
