Jean Boivin, PhD, is head of financial and markets analysis on the Blackrock Funding Institute. Previous to becoming a member of BlackRock, Dr. Boivin served as deputy governor of the Financial institution of Canada and as Finance Canada’s affiliate deputy minister and G7/G20 deputy. He has taught at Columbia Enterprise Faculty and HEC Montreal. He writes in regards to the international economic system, international markets and coverage.
