TotalEnergies Launches France’s First Advanced Plastics Recycling Plant – ESG Today

France-based power big TotalEnergies introduced at present the launch of France’s first superior plastics recycling plant, designed to transform hard-to-recycle family plastic waste into artificial oil.

The plant, positioned on the firm’s Grandpuits website close to Paris, has an annual processing capability of 15,000 tons, and marks a key step within the transformation of the positioning right into a zero-crude platform, in accordance with the corporate.

The brand new facility makes use of pyrolysis recycling expertise equipped by superior recycling expertise firm Plastic Power, changing hard-to-recycle family plastic waste which is at the moment despatched to landfill or incineration, into artificial oil.
