KYIV (Reuters) – Ten folks, together with two youngsters, have been killed and 52 have been injured on Sunday evening when a Russian missile hit a residential nine-storey constructing in Ukraine’s northeastern area of Sumy, Ukraine’s emergency companies and army mentioned.
“Sunday night for the town of Sumy grew to become hell, a tragedy that Russia delivered to our land,” Volodymyr Artyukh, the pinnacle of the Sumy army administration mentioned in a put up on the administration’s Telegram messaging channel.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine mentioned on Telegram that rescuers and all obligatory companies continued to work on the scene and psychologists have been offering help to these affected.

Each side deny focusing on civilians of their strikes on one another’s territory. However 1000’s have died since early 2022 in Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the overwhelming majority of them Ukrainians.
The assault on Sumy adopted a morning of Russia pounding Ukraine’s energy grid in what Kyiv mentioned was a “huge” assault with 120 missiles and 90 drones that killed no less than seven folks.
