GENEVA (Reuters) – Over 200 youngsters have been killed and 1,100 injured in Lebanon up to now two months, a spokesperson for the U.N. youngsters’s company (UNICEF) stated on Tuesday.
“The variety of over 200 (youngsters killed) is simply within the final two months. It is no less than 231 for the reason that begin of the warfare final 12 months,” James Elder advised a Geneva press briefing in response to a reporter’s query about casualties.
He didn’t touch upon who was liable for the killings, saying that it was clear to anybody who follows the media.
