ECONOMYNEXT – A mission known as The Routes We Take by an EU community of nationwide cultural organisations and Good Life X can have its second version on the YGC Innovation Competition in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, from August 29-30.
On the pageant, the mission will showcase the works of sustainable creatives on the map, host an interactive engagement exercise and conduct a capability constructing workshop.
These engagements will supply alternatives to share the Inventive Inexperienced Map with a wider viewers and increase
the community of sustainable creatives to open the door for future collaborations throughout innovation industries, organizers stated.
“The Routes We Take’s presence at this 12 months’s YGC Innovation Competition additional establishes inexperienced creatives as an integral a part of the innovation ecosystem,” regional program supervisor, Yathusha Kulenthiran stated.
“We’re excited to discover how these two industries can collaborate, encourage each other, and construct a stronger, extra linked future.”
Yathusha is a coordinator of the Yarl IT Hub’s WEHub which works with feminine entrepreneurs within the area.
Yathusha is the founding father of Olai, an internet platform offering sturdy, eco-friendly, and edible palmyra merchandise, made by northern Sri Lankan girls expert in palmyra weaving.
The earlier version of The Routes We Take held in Kandy had 13 exhibiting creatives, workshops, and performances targeted on sustainable and round ideas.
The Routes We Take is an initiative by the European Union Nationwide Institutes for Tradition (EUNIC) Sri Lanka and Good Life X.
EUNIC is a European community of nationwide cultural institutes and organisations, with 36 members from all EU Member States and affiliate nations. (Colombo/Aug22/2025)
