U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday escalated his assaults on New York Metropolis Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani, warning that he would order Mamdani’s arrest if he blocks federal immigration officers from detaining undocumented immigrants. Doubling down, Trump labelled Mamdani a “communist” and threatened to chop off federal funding to town if the first winner defies federal deportation efforts.
