Chipmaker Superior Micro Units, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) on Tuesday reported better-than-expected income and earnings for the primary quarter of 2025. The numbers elevated sharply from the year-ago interval.

First-quarter earnings, on an adjusted foundation, had been $0.96 per share, in comparison with $0.62 per share in the identical interval of 2024. On a reported foundation, web revenue got here in at $709 million or $0.44 per share in Q1, in comparison with $123 million or $0.07 per share within the prior-year interval.

The corporate reported revenues of $7.44 billion for the March quarter, in comparison with $5.47 billion within the comparable interval within the prior 12 months. Earnings and revenues each exceeded Wall Avenue’s estimates.
