Vikram Misri confirms repeated violations by Pakistan hours after ceasefire

International Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed late on Saturday that Pakistan had violated a ceasefire settlement arrived at by either side via talks mediated by the US. 

“For the previous few hours, there have been repeated violations of the understanding arrived at earlier this night between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan. It is a breach of the understanding arrived at earlier as we speak,” saif the International Secretary. 

“The armed forces are giving an sufficient and acceptable response to those violations, and we take very very critical discover of those violations. We name upon Pakistan to take acceptable steps to deal with these violations and cope with the state of affairs with seriousness and duty,” he mentioned in a quick media transient. 

“The Armed Forces are sustaining a robust imaginative and prescient on the state of affairs. They’ve been given directions to deal strongly with any situations of repetition of the violations of the borders alongside the worldwide border in addition to the road of management,” he mentioned. 

He additionally mentioned that the violations are condemnable and that Pakistan wants to grasp the state of affairs correctly and act accordingly. 

His assertion got here hours after India accepted Pakistan’s request to stop hearth via talks mediated by the US.
