A Home Judiciary Committee listening to turned heated as Rep. Chip Roy confronted former particular counsel Jack Smith after studying his telephone information had been subpoenaed through the Trump election probe. Roy revealed inner emails and accused prosecutors of concentrating on Republican lawmakers, whereas Smith defended the investigation as nonpartisan, acknowledging subpoenas involving GOP leaders, together with Kevin McCarthy.
