Andijk, North Holland – AVS Solar Dynamic Limited is honored to announce that it has secured a pilot project in Andijk, North Holland. This groundbreaking initiative involves the development of a floating solar installation covering approximately 4,400 acres of lake surface, with a power generation capacity of up to 500 megawatt-peak (MWp). The offshore solar installation is expected to produce approximately 41.4 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of clean energy annually.

The Andijk project represents a significant milestone in AVS’s commitment to advancing renewable energy solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge floating solar technology, the company aims to optimize the use of aquatic spaces for energy generation, thereby preserving valuable land resources and enhancing environmental sustainability.

Enhancing the Netherlands’ Renewable Energy Landscape

North Holland has been proactive in embracing renewable energy, and this pilot project aligns perfectly with regional and national sustainability goals. The floating solar installation will contribute significantly to the local energy grid, supplying clean electricity to thousands of households and reducing carbon emissions.

Rashid bin Saeed, Founder and CEO of AVS, commented: “We are thrilled to embark on this innovative project in Andijk. This floating solar installation not only exemplifies our dedication to renewable energy advancement but also underscores our commitment to environmental stewardship. We look forward to working closely with the local community and stakeholders to make this project a resounding success.”
