Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crashes in Kazakhstan

An Azerbaijan Airways passenger airplane crashed close to the Caspian Sea metropolis of Aktau in Kazakhstan throughout an emergency touchdown, in keeping with the Kazakh Transportation Ministry.

There have been 62 passengers and 5 crew members on board, the ministry stated in its Telegram channel. Based on preliminary data, there are some survivors, Kazakhstan’s Emergency Conditions Ministry stated in its Telegram channel.

The flight was scheduled between Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, and Grozny in southern Russia, in keeping with the transportation ministry. Footage, revealed by RBC media, exhibits a airplane descending over the Aktau airport, adopted by an explosion and smoke.
