Karnataka Minister Santosh Lad on Wednesday assured that the state authorities will “discover a answer” to the land acquisition subject close to Bengaluru airport for an aerospace park after Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh made a pitch to Aerospace industries to shift the venture to his State.

When requested about Nara Lokesh’s tweet, Santosh Lad mentioned, “You need to ask why he ( Nara Lokesh) tweeted now.”

Santosh Lad mentioned that the federal government has requested famers to voluntarily give their land and clarified that the venture isn’t scrapped. “For the final 5 many years, we have now been within the primary place in GDP. We are going to discover a answer. The farmers had a robust opinion that this land shouldn’t be given to anybody else. We now have requested farmers to voluntarily give us their land. It doesn’t imply the venture is scrapped,” he mentioned.

Karnataka Residence Minister G Parameshwara, when requested about Nara Lokesh’s submit mentioned, “Andhra Pradesh is offering alternatives for the aerospace trade.” In the meantime, Nara Lokesh seized the chance after the Karnataka authorities withdrew the plan to amass land for an aerospace park in Bengaluru.

Pitching to Aerospace trade, Lokesh mentioned that Andhra Pradesh has a gorgeous aerospace coverage with “best-in-class incentives” and over “8000 acres of ready-to-use land.” “Expensive Aerospace trade, sorry to listen to about this. I’ve a greater concept for you. Why don’t you have a look at Andhra Pradesh as a substitute? We now have a gorgeous aerospace coverage for you, with best-in-class incentives and over 8,000 acres of ready-to-use land (simply outdoors Bengaluru)! Hope to see you quickly to speak throughout the desk,” Nara Lokesh mentioned in a submit on X.

This comes because the Karnataka authorities determined to withdraw the land acquisition of 1,777 acres of farmland in Devanahalli taluk, close to the Kempegowda Worldwide Airport, for a proposed aerospace park.

This marks a serious victory for farmers who had been protesting in opposition to the land acquisition.

In a submit on X, Siddaramaiah introduced, “Consistent with our dedication to guard farmers’ pursuits and safeguard fertile agricultural land, the Authorities of Karnataka has determined to fully withdraw the land acquisition course of in Channarayapatna and different villages of Devanahalli taluk in Bengaluru Rural District.”
