Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilcke sends $157M in ETH to Kraken after months of wallet silence

A pockets linked to Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilcke transferred 79,358 ETH valued at round $157 million to the Kraken alternate on Saturday, as first reported by on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa.

The transfer got here eight months after Wilcke reportedly moved $41 million price of ETH, with knowledge tracked by Lookonchain displaying that he held 95,897 ETH on the time.

Wilcke joined the Ethereum workforce in late 2013 and earned a status for creating Geth, essentially the most broadly used shopper for operating Ethereum nodes.

The software program developer helped keep the community’s core infrastructure till stepping again round 2018. He later moved into gaming with the launch of Grid Video games.
