OpenPayd Secures MiCA License for Crypto Services in Europe

Monetary infrastructure supplier OpenPayd stated Wednesday that it has secured authorization beneath the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Belongings Regulation (MiCA), permitting it to supply crypto providers throughout the European Financial Space (EEA) by way of passporting.

The license lets OpenPayd function as a crypto asset service supplier (CASP) to supply providers reminiscent of fiat-to-stablecoin on-ramping and off-ramping, the corporate stated in an announcement seen by Cointelegraph.
