Sri Lankan embassy in Lebanon verifying identity of worker killed in Israeli attacks | EconomyNext

ECONOMYNEXT – The Sri Lankan embassy in Lebanon has but to formally affirm the nationality of a migrant employee killed in Israeli assaults on South Lebanon, embassy sources instructed Economynext.

The deceased, Rahma, was reportedly recognized as Sri Lankan by her neighbours, who mentioned that she had been in Lebanon for the previous 25 years.

No Sri Lankan contacts have been discovered on her cell phone as of but, sources mentioned.

The physique is at the moment in Najde hospital in Nabatieh, a metropolis near Habbouch, the village the place she was when Israel attacked.
