VanEck turns online slang into strategy with ‘Degen Economy’ ETF

VanEck is betting that what began as a slang for reckless on-line merchants can promote an ETF.

The agency is renaming its gaming ETF (BJK) the “VanEck Degen Economic system ETF,” flipping the once-pejorative time period right into a advertising and marketing pitch for the growth in digital finance, gig platforms and on-line betting, in line with a regulatory submitting.
